BANGABANDHU-NON COMMUNAL-BANGLADESH
Bangabandhu had a dream of establishing non-communal Bangladesh: Rezaul
DHAKA, Jan 9, 2020 (BSS) – Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul
Karim today said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had a
dream of establishing a non-communal Bangladesh.
“We have to extend our supports to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to build a
happy and prosperous country through following the ideology of Bangabandhu,”
he told at a seminar titled “Bangabandhu’s homecoming day and relevant
thoughts” in the city.
Sampriti Bangladesh organized the seminar with its Convener Pijush
Bandyopadhyay in the chair, a press release said.
Justice Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik, Sampriti Bangladesh Member Secretary
Prof Dr Mamun Al Mahtab Swapnil, Former Secretary and Joint Convener of
Sampriti Bangladesh Md. Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Former Vice Chancellor of
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Prof Kamrul Hasan Khan, Pro-VC of
Dhaka University Dr. Muhammad Samad, among others, addressed the seminar.
Bangabandhu emerged as a world leader for his extraordinary leadership
quality, Justice Manik said, adding that all world leaders respected
Bangabandhu for his towering personality.
Pijush said, “The democracy that Bangabandhu had established is world
democracy. His democracy spoke of oppressed and exploited people around the
world.”
