JHENAIDAH, Jan 8, 2020 (BSS) – A motorcycle rider was killed in a road
accident in Garaganj Bridge area on the Kushtia-Jhenaidah highway under Shailkupa upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Shohag Hossain, 17, hailed from Rani Nagar village in the upazila and also a HSC student of Mia Jinnah Alam Degree College.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shailkupa Thana Bazlur Rahman said the accident
occurred when a passengers bus hit Shohag’s motorcycle from behind in the
area, leaving him dead on the spot.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital morgue.
