Court fixes Jan 28 to submit probe report on DU rape case
DHAKA, Jan 07, 2020 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today set January 28 for
submitting probe report in a case lodged over rape of a Dhaka University (DU)
student in city’s Kurmitola area on Sunday last.
Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Begum Yasmin Ara passed the order after
taking first information report (FIR) into cognizance.
Earlier, a student of Dhaka University (DU) was allegedly raped in the
city’s Kurmitola area while she was going to her friend’s resident after dusk
on Sunday.
Father of the victim filed a case with Cantonment police station on Monday.
