‘Earning money should not be main aim of doing politics’
DHAKA, Jan 4, 2020 (BSS) – Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman and Deputy
Leader of the opposition in the parliament GM Quader today said earning money
should not be the main purpose to do politics in the country.
“It is not right to do politics for earning money only… It should not
be the main objective of doing politics. Considering the interest of the
country and its people, JaPa will earn their (people) confidence by launching
different programmes,” he said.
He made the remarks when party leaders from Kishoreganj, Madaripur,
Bhairab and Sylhet came to the party office in Banani area here this
afternoon to greet the newly elected chairman and secretary general of the
party.
JaPa Secretary General and Opposition Chief Whip in the Parliament
Moshiur Rahman Ranga, its Co-Chairman Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu and party leader
and lawmaker Adelur Rahman also spoke on the occasion.
GM Quader directed his party leaders and workers to stay beside people of
the country taking programmes against corruption and irregularities.
