Fahad shares 2nd position in International GM Chess
DHAKA, Jan 4, 2020 (BSS) – IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman shared second position
in the points table with four points along with other twelve players in the
fifth round games of EKA IIFL Investment Managers 5th International Grand
Master Chess Tournament now being held in Mumbai, India.
GM Ziaur Rahman shared the third position along with other seventeen
players with 3.5 points.
In the fifth round games held on Friday last, IM Fahad beat Sammed Jaykumar
Shete of India, GM Zia beat WIM Vantika Agrawal of India and Tahsin split
point with WFM Vishwa Vasnawal of India.
Meanwhile, Marzouq Chowdhury bagged four points and Azher Hossain earned
2.5 points after the sixth round games in the EKA IIFL Investment Managers
5th Mumbai Junior Under-13 FIDE Rating Chess Tournament.
In the 6th round games of the junior event held Friday, Marzouq beat
Deoshatwar Ojas of India and Azher beat Shaha Arnav Parin of India.
