Enamur distributes warm clothes among poor
PANCHAGARH, Jan 04, 2020 (BSS) – As the winter is reigning with its shivering cold, the government has ample preparations to protect the poor and distressed from cold-related woes.
Giving such assurance to the people prone to cold, State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Md Enamur Rahman
said that the government has sufficient stock of blankets which will be distributed among the needy as per requirement.
He was distributing warm clothes and dry foods among the cold-stricken people on Friday at different places of Panchagarh district.
“None would suffer from cold-related miseries, as the government has taken necessary measures to mitigate the sufferings of the poor” he said.
“The government has been working for the development of the country. In the future, no one will remain homeless. Houses will be built for all homeless people,” he added.
Arranged ny Panchagarh district administration, the distribution programmes were attended, among others, by Senior Secretary of the ministry Shah Kamal and Director General of the Department of Disaster Management Md. Mohsin.
