Joy, Lekhak now BCL president, secretary
DHAKA, Jan 4, 2020 (BSS) – Al-Nahean Khan Joy and Lekhak Bhattacharjee were formally declared as president and general secretary respectively of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today made the declaration while addressing the reunion program at Suhrawardy Udyan marking the 72nd founding anniversary of BCL.
On September 14, 2019, Al-Nahean Khan Joy and Lekhak Bhattacharjee were made acting president and acting general secretary of BCL soon after then president Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon and general secretary Golam Rabbani were removed from the posts.
