Bashundhara Kings sets final clash with Rahmatganj in Fed Cup

DHAKA, Jan 3, 2020 (BSS)- Powerhouse Bashundhara Kings set final clash with
Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society as they beat new comers Bangladesh
Police Football Club by 3-0 goals in the second semifinal of the TVS
Federation Cup Football tournament held on Friday at the Bangabandhu National
Stadium.

The title deciding final match between the two sides will be held on
Sunday (January 5) at the same venue at 4 pm.

In the day’s match, Topu Bormon gave Bashundhara Kings a deserving lead
early in the 17th minute while after the lemon break Daniel further doubled
the lead for Bashundhara in the 50th minute of the match.

Nicolas sealed the victory scoring the third goal for Bangladesh Premier
League Champions Bashundhara in the 93rd minute of the match.

Bashundhara Kings clearly dominated the whole proceeding and notched their
deserving victory while Bangladesh Police Football Club were totally off
colored and they hardly able to produce any real scoring chance in the match.

Bashundhara Kings earlier ensured their spot of semifinal by defeating
Bangladesh Muktijoddhhda Sangsad Krira Chakra by 4-1 goals in penalty
shootout while Bangladesh Police Football Club on way to the semifinal
defeated Saif Sporting Club by 3-1 goals in their respective quarterfinal
matches.

Earlier, on way to the final, Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society made
the history by reaching into final for the first time in the history of club
with a solitary goal win over Mohammedan Sorting Club Limited in the first
semi-final held on Thursday last.
