President authenticates proposed budget for FY 2018-19
SANGSAD BHABAN, June 7, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today
authenticated the national budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2018-19 and the
revised budget for the FY 2017-18 for placing before the Jatiya Sangsad by
Finance Minister AMA Muhith.
The President authenticated the budget at his office at the Jatiya Sangsad
Bhaban at about 12:15 pm.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith, National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman and
Senior Secretary Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan and Finance Division’s
Secretary Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, among others, were present there.
Earlier on his arrival at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, President Hamid was
received by Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah, Chief Whip ASM Feroz and other
senior officials concerned.
The President exchanged views with the officials and employees of the
Jatiya Sangsad, where he served as the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and several
times as elected lawmakers.
