DHAKA, Jan 3, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today
predicted that rain or thundershowers may occur in different parts of the
country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
“Rain or thundershower are likely to occur at many places over Dhaka,
Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at
a few places over Rangpur division,” said a Met office bulletin issued this
morning.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the country from
midnight to tomorrow morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may fall by 2 to 5
degree Celsius over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 28 degree Celsius in
Dhaka, while today’s minimum temperature was 11 degree Celsius in Tetulia.
The sun sets at 5:24 pm today and rises at 6:42 am tomorrow in the capital.
