BFIU, BSEC ink MoU for exchanging information
DHAKA, Jan 2, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) and Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for exchanging information aimed at preventing money laundering and terrorist financing.
BSEC Executive Director and AML and CFT Wing Chief Ruksana Chowdhury and BFIU General Manager and operational chief Md Zakir Hossain Chowdhury singed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides at the BSEC Bhaban in the city, said a press release.
BSEC Chairman Dr M Khairul Hossain and Head of BFIU Abu Hena Mohd Razee Hassan, among others, were present on the occasion.
