Discussion meeting and play Laljomin held
NARSINGDI Jan 1, 2020 (BSS) – Narsingdi Police administration organized a discussion meeting and staging a play (drama) ‘Laljomin’ on the occasion of last day of Bijoy month December 2019 at Narsingdi Police line yesterday evening.
Superintendent of Police Narsingdi Pralay Kumar Jourder BPM((BAR)PPM presided over the function.
Principal of Independent college, Narsingdi gave the welcome speech.
Former principals of Narsingdi Government college Prof Mohammad Ali and Prof Golam Mostafa Miah , Prof Surjakantha Das, President of Narsingdi Bar Association Advocate Arman Miah and General Secretary of Narsingdi Press club Mazharul Parvez also spoke on the occasion.
The speakers said, the law and order situation of the district is comparatively better now than that of the previous months and years. The terrorism, militancy, anarchism have been kept under control in the district after taking drastic step by the police administration.
Crime incidents are declining in the district. They said people of all classes in the district are now satisfied and appreciating the Superintendent of police for his dynamic role in improving the law and order situation and kept terrorism ,militancy ,drug trading and abuse under full control in the district.
Police Super said a large number of police are high alert and patrolling the roads and highways to curb crime, terrorism, drug trafficking for ensuring safety and security of the people in the district. He said all the higher police officials and officers-in-charge of all Thanas are showing excellent performance in improving law and order situation in the district.
After the discussion meeting, the play Laljomin the story of a girl’s journey to martyrdom performance by Momana Chowdhary was staged there.
