Rajshahi court attains significant success in case disposing
RAJSHAHI, Dec 31, 2019 (BSS) – Rajshahi Judicial Magistracy has attained
a tremendous success in the field of case disposal this year figuring 104
percent up by 14.48 percent than the previous year.
In the last eleven months, a total of 9,474 cases were recorded and
10,207 cases were disposed which is being adjudged as a remarkable success.
This was revealed in the monthly police-magistracy conference held with
Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Mehedi Hassan Talukder in the chair at his
office today.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Jewel Adhikary, Senior Judicial
Magistrates Saiful Islam and Abdullah Al Amin Bhuiyan and District Public
Prosecutor Ibrahim Hossain also addressed the meeting.
The meeting was told that 1,341 cases were cleared through alternative
dispute resolution system with mediation of the respective courts this year.
All magistrates working in the judicial magistracy, representatives of
RAB, BGB, Jail and officer-in-charge of all police stations in the district
were present at the conference.
The conference called for issuing warrant in due time for timely
disposal of the cases concerned.
It passed a direction to the officials concerned relating to ensuring
presence of doctors and investigation officer in court for quick disposal of
the cases.
Besides, it gave another direction towards issuing arrest warrant
against accused side by side with the witnesses.
