Govt makes RAJUK chairman new power secretary
DHAKA, Dec 30, 2019 (BSS)- The government has promoted Chairman of Rajdhani Unnyan Katripakha (RAJUK) Dr Sultan Ahmed to the rank and status of a secretary, appointing him as the secretary to the power division under the power, energy and mineral resources ministry.
According to a gazette notification issued by the public administration ministry today, Dr Sultan Ahmed was the chairman of RAJUK with the rank and status of an additional secretary.
Meanwhile, Power Division Senior Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus has been made the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Besides, the government has also promoted two other additional secretaries to the post of secretary.
Local government division additional secretary Mahbub Hossain has been made secretary to the secondary and higher education division of the education ministry. Technical and madrasah division additional secretary Rawnak Mahmud has been made secretary to the fisheries and livestock ministry.
