AL nominates Atik for DNCC, Taposh for DSCC polls
DHAKA, Dec 29, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Awami League (AL) has nominated M Atiqul Islam for Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) while Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh for Dhaka South North City Corporation (DNCC) as mayoral candidates in the upcoming January 30 elections.
AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced the two names at a press briefing at the party president’s political office at Dhanmondi in the capital today.
