DHAKA, Dec 28, 2019 (BSS) – Another case was also filed today against Vice President of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Nurul Haque Nur under the Digital Security Act 2018.
Arnob Hore, Outdoor Games Secretary of DU Jagannath Hall union, lodged the case with Dhanmondi model police station, said Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of the police station.
According to the case statement, the accused committed crimes by publishing defamatory information on the social networking site Facebook in a bid to degrade the law and order situation.
Another case was also filed against Nur and 28 others with Shahbagh police station on December 25, with the allegation of mugging and attempting to murder.
