Attorney General for making objective journalism
DHAKA, Dec 28, 2019 (BSS) – Attorney General Mahbubey Alam today said maintaining professionalism and responsibility is important for journalists.
“Journalists have to enrich the profession through maintaining objectivity properly,” he said while speaking at a discussion at Jatiya Press Club here.
Mahbubey Alam urged journalists to be more united saying that “Only unity can ensure more financial and social security for journalists”.
He also called upon journalists to remain aware so that none of evil forces can use media as a tool to destroy social norms and values
Greater Dhaka Journalists Forum (GDJF) organised the biennial meeting with its president of GDJF Kartik Chatterjee in the chair.
Lawmaker Nazrul Islam Babu, MP, and former president of National Press Club Riaz Uddin Ahmed, also present on the occasion.
Later, a new committee of GDJF was announced with Kartik Chatterjee as president, Shahin Chowdhury as general secretary and Ataur Rahman as finance secretary for the next two years.
