Amit and Saiful elected MPC Sec. and joint Sec.
MYMENSINGH, Dec. 28, 2019 (BSS): Amit Roy and Mohammad Saiful Islam have
been elected secretary and joint-secretary respectively in Mymensingh Press
Club (MPC) for next tenure .
The newly office bearers have been elected in the annual election to MPC
for next one year term.
The other office-bearers are Vice-Presidents; – AZM Imamuddin Mukta and Dr
KR Islam Departmental Secretaries- Aminul Islam, Jahangir Kabir Jewel,
Sharifuzzaman Titu and Harun-or-Rashid and Executive members- Ataul Karim
Khokon, Anisur Rahman Hatem, Anwarul Hasan Rumi, Mir Golam Mustafa, Babul
Hossain, Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmad and Mozammel Haque.
Election for the post of treasurer was postponed as one of the candidates
for this post Faruquzzaman Khan died of cardiac arrest on Friday morning.
Deputy Commissioner of Mymensingh Mohammad Mizanur Rahman is retaining his
post as President of the club as an ex-officio.
Advocate AHM Khalequzzaman, a senior member of the club who conducted the
election announced the results tonight.
Earlier, the annual general meeting of the club was held yesterday .
