Case against DUCSU VP Nur, 28 others
DHAKA, Dec 26, 2019 (BSS) – A case was filed today against Vice President of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Nurul Haque Nur and 28 others.
DM Sabbir Hossain, a resident student of Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall of Dhaka University (DU), lodged the case with the Shahbagh police station, said Inspector (In-charge) of Shahbagh police station Mahbubur Rahman.
On December 22, eight people including president of Mukhtijuddha Mancha Aminul Islam were severely injured as Nur and some of his associates entered DUCSU building illegally and attacked them with sharp weapons and sticks with an attempt to kill them, said the case statement.
In the statement, the plaintiff also brought mugging allegation against Nur.
