Lessening of healthy cultural practice raises militancy: Food Minister
NAOGAON, Dec 25, 2019 (BSS) – Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder
today urged all the cultural activists to work in combined for promoting
healthy cultural practice as lessening of such healthy cultural practice in
the country consequently has rekindled the problem like militancy.
“Lessening of healthy cultural practice in the society creates room for
alien culture and militancy as well,” he said at the awarding of shilpakala
academy reception programme here last night.
So, the country needs to promote healthy cultural practice to get rid
from the problems like militancy, the minister added.
Chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Naogaon M Harun-Ar Rashid, the
programme also was attended, among others, by police super Engineer Abdul
Mannan Mia and district Shilpakala Academy officials.
Food Minister told the function that the government has taken huge
initiatives to expand cultural activities in order to make the country free
from militancy, terrorism, eve teasing and drugs.
