Two arrest over Nur attack
DHAKA, Dec 23, 2019(BSS) – Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested today two leaders of Muktijoddha Mancha for attacking Vice President (VP) of Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) Nurul Huq and his followers.
Two arrested are General Secretary of Muktijoddha Mancha (one of faction) Al Mamun and Dhaka University Unit leader Yasir Arafat in order to interrogate about an incident happened on Sunday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of DMP Media and Public Relations Department Obaidur Rahman informed BSS regarding this development. He said DB police arrested them for interrogation.
The incident took place at DUCSU Bhaban on Sunday as Nurul Haq and some of DU students and several students of Jahangirnagar University were injured after an alleged attack led by Al Mamun and Yasir Arafat along with their friends .
