Dr Latif passes away
DHAKA, Dec 22, 2019 (BSS) – Dr ABM Abdul Latif, elder brother of senior
sub-editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) AK Zahirul Huq Rana, died
this morning at his Ring Road residence in city’s Mohammadpur area.
He was 68, family sources said.
Latif is survived by his lone son, two daughters and a host of relatives
and admirers.
He was suffering from various diseases including diabetes for long.
Latif was buried at Rayerbazar graveyard following his namaz-e-janaza at
Shyamoli Shahi Mosque in the capital after Zohr prayer.
He was the senior medical officer of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital and also the
brother of late journalist leader Masud Nizami.
