Seven-day book fair begins in Sylhet tomorrow
SYLHET, Dec 22, 2019 (BSS) – A seven-day “Book Fair” is set to begin from
tomorrow at government Aliya Madrasah ground in Sylhet.
“A total of 60 stalls will be set up in the fair. The book fair will
feature various programmes including discussion and seminar on different
genres of literatures,” said Md Aslam Uddin, Additional Deputy Commissioner
(ADC) of Sylhet in a press briefing today at district administrator’s
conference hall.
A large number of book lovers are expected to visit the fair as prominent
writers, academics and people in the literary arena will participate in the
various events to be held during the seven-day extravaganza.
