Victory Day celebration ends at Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata
KOLKATA, Dec 20, 2019 (BSS) – A four-day “Bijoy Utsab’ marking the Victory Day ended today at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata amid different programmes.
Rabindra Bharati University Vice-Chancellor Professor Sabyasachi Basu Ray Chaudhury, Bangladesh’s World University Vice-Chancellor Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, noted journalist of Kolkata Tarun Ganguly and Kolkata Press Club President Snehasis Sur attended the closing ceremony.
The four-day festival included colorful cultural function, photo exhibition on Liberation War, screening of documentaries and films.
The festival began on December 17.
Prime Minister’s International Relation Affairs Adviser Professor Dr Gowher Rizvi attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest with Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner in Kolkata Toufique Hassan in the chair.
