Corporate Badminton tournament results
DHAKA, Dec 20, 2019 (BSS) – Kafrul of Grameenphone beat Zahidul Haran of Bangladesh Biman by 3-0 set in the men’s singles event of Akash Corporate Badminton tournament held on Thursday at Dhaka Officers’ Club in the city.
In the men’s doubles event, Talha and Taif pair defeated Faisal Haider and Abu Russell by 3-0 set while Nafi and Shamim pair outclassed Mostafa and Touhidul pair by 3-1 set. In the women’s doubles event, Samaha and Javeria pair of Hamid Group defeated Nila and Rohini pair of Biman by 3-0 set while Minia and Shewly pair of Bangladesh Biman outplayed their teammate Rohini and Nila pair also by 3-0 set.
Country’s top corporate houses – Hamid Group, Bikash, City Bank, Yropa Food, and Beverage Limited, Grameenphone, Nogod and Walton – are taking part in the meet.
A total of 60 men’s and 25 women’s shuttlers are competing in the men’s singles and doubles, women’s singles and doubles and mixed doubles events.
