Mild cold wave sweeping over northern parts of country
DHAKA, Dec 19, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today said that mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi,
Pabna, Naogaon, Kurigram, Nilphamari, Jashore and Chuadanga and predicted
that it may spread.
The lowest temperature in Bangladesh has been recorded today at 7.9 degree
Celsius in Chuadanga.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the
country which would be valid for the next twenty-four hours commencing from
9am.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during midnight
till morning, said a Met Office weather bulletin here today.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon,
Kurigram, Nilphamari, Jashore and Chuadanga and it may spread.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 29.8 degree
Celsius at Teknaf and lowest temperature recorded today was 7.9 degree
Celsius at Chuadanga.
The sun sets at 5.15 pm today and rises at 6.36 am tomorrow in the capital.
