DHAKA, Dec 17, 2019 – (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today mourned the death of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Military Secretary Major General Mia Mohammad Zainul Abedin.
In a condolence message, the head of the state expressed deep shock and sorrow at his death.
“Mia Mohammad Zainul Abedin was a faithful and skilled military officer . . . at his death, the country has lost an efficient military officer,” he mentioned.
The President also conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace for the departed soul of Zainul Abedin.
Zainul Abedin breathed his last at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital in the afternoon.
