CHATTOGRAM, Dec 17, 2019 (BSS) – A two day-long international conference of the Physics Department of Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) will begin tomorrow.
The theme of the conference is “Highlighting Innovation Challenges in
Physics”.
A total of 250 scholars including teachers, scientists, researchers,
experts and entrepreneurs from Australia, Canada, Japan, India, France,
Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Nigeria and Bangladesh will join the
conference.
This was disclosed at a press meet held at CUET administrative Bhaban
this afternoon. Head of the Department of Physics and chairman of the
conference Dr. Mohiuddin read out the written statement in the press
conference.
A total of three keynote speeches, two invited talk, 10 technical
session and one poster projection will be presented in the conference.
Besides, 157 research articles including oral and poster projection have
been finally approved for the conference.
Vice chancellor of CUET Professor Dr. Rafiqul Alam will inaugurate the
conference as chief guest at 10 am while Dr. Mohammad Mohiuddin will preside
over the inaugural function.
Professor Emeritus of South East University Dr. M Shamsher Ali will
attend as conference speaker.
Dean of Engineering and Technology Faculty Dr. Mohammad Rezaul Karim,
Registrar Professor Dr. Farukuzzaman Chowdhury will grace it as special
guests.
