Masihuzzaman Serniabat made new Air Force Chief
DHAKA, June 5, 2018 (BSS) – Air Vice Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat has
been appointed as the new Chief of Air Staff for a three-year tenure from
June 12, an ISPR release said here today.
He will remain Air Chief for three years — from June 12, 2018 afternoon
to June 12, 2021 afternoon, a Defence Ministry notification published here
said.
Air Vice Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat will replace the outgoing Air
Chief Air Marshal Abu Esrar, who will proceed on retirement from June 12, the
notification said.
Another notification of the Defence Ministry said Air Vice Marshal
Serniabat will be promoted to Air Marshal rank with effect from June 12, 2018
afternoon.
