KATHMANDU, Dec 11, 2019 (BSS)- Secretary General(SG) of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Syed Shahed Reza expressed his happiness over the success
of athletes in the just concluded 13th South Asian Games.

“I’m really very happy. The expectation which we hoped goes closer… but
some disciplines not up to their mark but we are not disappointed. There were
some events where we expected gold but ended up with silver… it will be
much better if we get gold from those disciplines,” said the BOA secretary
general to the press after ending of the game.

Chef de mission Asaduzzaman Kohinoor said we are content with the number of
gold medals and able to surpass the success of 2010 SA Games.

But, in order to get success in the biggest game, there is no alternative
to manage proper training and long term plan, he added.

“Now, we need to think about the infrastructure development of sports…
Nepal has gone far ahead in sports and its infrastructure development and we
need to learn from Nepal,” said Kohinoor.
