Bangladesh lost to Nepal in SAG basketball
KATHMANDU, Dec 10, 2019 (BSS)- Bangladesh men’s basketball team lost to
host Nepal by in a wide score of 81-59 in the bronze deciding match of 13th
South Asian Games Basketball that concluded on Tuesday Cover at Hall,
Tripureshwor.
The wins means, Nepal won the bronze medal in this event. Ashim Shrestha
scored the highest points 19 while Bijaya Burja, captain Sadish Pradhan,
Aayush Singh and Saurab Shrestha scored 16, 15, 13 and 11 points
respectively.
Nepal has got medals in all the four event of Basketball. Nepalese men’s
team has won silver medal in 3×3 Basketball while female team has won bronze
in the same category.
This edition of SAG remained special for Basketball asNepal female team
entered in the final of the SG Games for the first time in its history.
