Justice Mamtaz Uddin reappointed as Press Council chairman
DHAKA, Dec 10, 2019 (BSS) – Justice Mohammad Mamtaj Uddin Ahmed (retd) has
been reappointed as the chairman of Bangladesh Press Council (BPC) for the
next one year.
A notification was issued today in this regard by Ministry of Public
Administration.
On August 6, 2014, the government appointed Justice Mamtaj Uddin Ahmed as
the press council chairman, on contractual basis, for three-year tenure.
Later, on August 21, 2017, he was reappointed as the chairman of the Press
Council for two years.
