Schoolgirl killed in Noakhali road accident
NOAKHALI, June 5, 2018 (BSS) – A schoolgirl was killed as a pickup van ran
over her in Basurhat-Burir Masjid area under Companiganj upazila of the
district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Nusrat Jahan Sinthia, 14, a student of class
eight of Maksudah Government Girl’s High School and daughter of Zakir
Hossain, a resident of Ward no-4 of Basurhat Pourasabha.
Police said the accident occurred in the area at about 11 am when the
pickup van hit her from behind. Sinthia died on the spot.
