Militants kill 6 Afghan soldiers in eastern Ghanzi province
GHAZNI, Afghanistan, Dec 10, 2019 (BSS/XINHUA) – The armed insurgents
intercepted a car in the eastern Ghazni province and gunned down six soldiers
on Monday, provincial government spokesman Aref Nuri said Tuesday.
The soldiers, according to the official, were on the way to their homes for
vacation when the Taliban insurgents stopped their vehicle in Andar district,
killing them for serving in the national army.
Taliban militants have yet to make comments.
The armed insurgents have also claimed a car bomb attack that left eight
soldiers dead in Nad Ali district of the neighboring Helmand on Monday.
