PM mourns death of Prof Ajoy Roy
DHAKA, Dec 9, 2019 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of valiant freedom fighter Professor Ajoy Roy.
In a condolence message, the premier prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Prof Ajoy, father of the slain blogger Avijit Roy, breathed his last this afternoon while undergoing treatment at a city hospital at the age of 85.
