GOAT-DISTRIBUTION
Two NGOs distribute goats in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, June 5, 2018 (BSS)-Bangladesh NGO Foundation and Samaj Kalyan
Federation today jointly distributed 33 goats among an equal number of
distressed women at Harivasha village in Sadar upazila of the district.
Sadar Upazila Nirbahi (UNO) Officer Md Ahetesam Reza distributed the goats
at a function as the chief guest.
The distressed women comprise widows, husband abandoned women and
physically challenged women.
Addressing the function, the UNO said the two nongovernment organizations
have undertaken the goat distribution programme to help the distressed women
earn solvency by rearing goat.
Harivasha Union Parishad Chairman Sayed Nure Alam and Samaj Kalyan
Federation Chairman Solayman Ali were present in the function.
