BNP-Jamaat will be erased from Bangladesh politically: Nasim

RAJSHAHI, Dec 8, 2019 (BSS)- Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Muhammad
Nasim, MP, today said the BNP-Jamaat will be erased from Bangladesh
politically and the AL leaders and workers will have to remain prepared to
win in the final fight against the BNP-Jamaat.

“Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must win in the
battle against the BNP-Jamaat axis,” he also said while addressing the
inaugural session of a daylong triennial council of Rajshahi District unit of
the party at Mohila Krira Complex in the city today as chief guest.

Nasim said the BNP-Jamaat axis has been hatching deep-rooted conspiracy
against the present government as the country is witnessing a remarkable
development.

He urged the party leaders and workers to remain alert against all sorts of
conspiracies of the defeated elements.

Joint-general Secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, who addressed the conference
as chief speaker, said the pro-BNP lawyers have made an unprecedented
incident by creating chaos in the courtroom. Such incident inside courtroom
is totally unacceptable, he added.

Organizing Secretary Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Health and Population Affairs
Secretary Dr Rokeya Sultana, Executive Members Merina Jahan and Nurul Islam
Thandu and Advisers Prof Abdul Khaleque and Prof Saidur Rahman Khan spoke as
special guests. District unit president Omor Faruque Chowdhury presided over
the meeting.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, MP, Mayor of Rajshahi
City Corporation AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, Engineer Enamul Haque, MP, Ayen
Uddin, MP, Dr Monsur Rahman, MP, Dr Samil Uddin Ahmed, MP, and Advocate Adiba
Anjum Mita, MP, also addressed the meeting.

Earlier, the council was inaugurated through hoisting national and party
flags.
