GAIBANDHA, Dec 5, 2019 (BSS) – A two-day long orientation training for
newly appointed field supervisors and field assistant of Amar Bari Amar
Khamar-Palli Sanchay Bank of four upazilas here ended at the Circuit House of
the town here on Wednesday.
Amar Bari Amar Khamar project arranged the training at the direct
supervision of district administration.
They were imparted training on different issues including arrangement of
yard meeting, bank transaction, savings collection, loan disbursement and
realizing from the selected beneficiaries of the project, sources said.
Additional deputy commissioner (General) Alamgir Kabir Saikat,
Sadullapur UNO M. Nabineowaz, Sadar UNO Prasun Kumar Chakrabartee, district
coordinator of the project Maksudur Rahman, Sadullapur upazila coordinator
Moahmmad Al-Amin, senior officer of Palli Sanchoy Bank Rony Kishore and
representative of Bangladesh Commercial Bank Ltd Raihan Kabir Prince
conducted the training sessions as the resource persons.
A total of 50 field supervisors and field assistant coming from Sadar,
Palashbari, Sadullapur and Fulchhari upazilas of the district took part in
the training.
Earlier, deputy commissioner Abdul Matin formally inaugurated the
orientation training on Tuesday.
DC Abdul Matin asked all the trainees to acquire knowledge properly from
the training in an attempt to provide their sincere services to the project
beneficiaries without any hassle.
Terming the project as one of the 10 brandings of Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina the DC urged them to be more serious and professional to make the
project a grand success in the district.
