Relief distributed among fire victims in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, Dec 3, 2019 (BSS) – Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan visited the fire affected people this noon and distributed money, rice and blankets among the victims at Sobujpara village in Debiganj Upazila of the district.
During the visit the Minister said his government is prepared to face all kinds of disaster. “Necessary reliefs are being distributed among the victims within short time” he added.
The minister also urged the fire victims to be patient and to be aware of the reason which ignites the fire so that will help them in future to avoid any fire related disasters.
Upazila Chairman Abdul Malek Chisti, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Prottoy Hassan, Upazila AL president Giash Uddin Chowdhury and Secretary Hasnat Jaman Chowdhury George were present during the relief distribution.
A total of Tk 47000 was distributed among the fire victims by the Minister Nurul Islam Sujan. Each family also got 30 kgs of rice and blankets from the Minister. It is mentioned a fire gutted 9 houses of 6 families at the village on Sunday night.
