DMP transfers 18 officials including OCs
DHAKA, Dec 2, 2019 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred 18 police officials, including eight officers-in-charge (OCs) of eight police stations.
An office order signed by DMP Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam was issued in this regard today.
The OC of Dhanmondi Police Station Mohammad Abdul Latif was transferred to Mohammadpur Police Station in the same post while inspector of Counter Terrorism unit Humayun Kabir was made OC of Dhanmondi Thana, OC of Bimanbandar Thana Nure Azam Mia to Banani Police Station, OC of Banani Police Station BM Forman Ali to Bimanbandar Thana, inspector (investigation) of Gulshan Police Station SM Kaium to New Market Thana as OC, inspector (investigation) of Kadamtali Thana Tofail Ahmed to Darus Salam Thana as OC, inspector (investigation) of Kotwali Thana Maudut Howlader to Chawk Bazar Thana as OC and inspector (investigation) of Tejgaon Police Station Mohammad Parves Islam to Badda Thana as OC.
Besides, OC of New Market Thana Atiqur Rahman was transferred to DB West Division, OC of Mohammadpur Police Station GG Biswas to prosecution division of DMP, OC of Darus Salam Thana Aslam Uddin to operations division of DMP headquarters, OC of Chawk Bazar Sohrab Hossain to Counter Terrorism Division, OC of Badda Thana Rafiqul Islam to Organised and Transnational Crime Division, inspector (operations) of Mohammadpur Police Station Shariful Islam to Logistic Division of DMP, inspector (investigation) of Dakshinkhan Thana Shafiqul Goni Sabu to operations division of DMP headquarters, inspector Shah Alam to Mohammadpur Thana as inspector (operations), inspector Shamsul Alam to crime division of DMP headquarters and inspector Kamal Hossain to administration division of DMP headquarters.
