Eden College student dies at DMCH
DHAKA, Dec 2, 2019 (BSS)- Eden Mohila College student Aklima Akter Jui,
25, who was undergoing treatment at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital after
suffering injuries falling from a running motorcycle in city’s Bijoy Sarani
area, died today.
Aklima, who was undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of
the DMCH, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital around 6:30am today,
informed BSS Correspondent.
The victim, daughter of Abul Kalam of Sundurpur village under Chatkhil
upazila in Noakhali, used to live with her family at East Kazipara in the
city’s Mirpur area.
According to family sources, Aklima sustained critical injuries after
she fell down from a motorbike hired from the ride-sharing platform Uber at
Bijoy Sarani area when she was going to Farmgate on Saturday.
