DU VC leaves for UK
DHAKA, Dec 1, 2019 (BSS) – The Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University
(DU) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman left here for London today on a five-day
official visit at the invitation of Association of Commonwealth University
ACU).
During the visit, the VC will attend Trustee Briefing, Executive Committee
Meeting, Council Meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the ACU to be
held on December 2-3.
Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman is expected to hold bilateral talks of mutual
interests especially on higher education, research and scholarship programs
with the ACU authorities.
Earlier, he was elected as Council Member of the ACU in July this year.
The VC will return home on December 5 after wrapping up his five-day
official visit to the United Kingdom (UK).
