Jamaat leader Aziz held in Chattogram
CHATTOGRAM, June 4, 2018 (BSS) – Police arrested Jamaat leader Mohammad
Azizul Houqe, alias Bittya Aziz from Keranihat area of Satkhania upazila on
charges of sabotage acts in Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar high way on Sunday.
Aziz who has been absconding for long, wanted in seven cases on sabotage
acts since 2014 was arrested from the area at around 11 pm last night.
On a tiff off, a team of police from Satkhania police station conducted a
drive in the area and arrested Aziz, said Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-Charge of
the police station.
He was produced before the court this noon, Rafiqul said.
