Man killed in city road accident
DHAKA, Nov 27, 2019 (BSS) – A man was killed as a private car hit him in
city’s Gulshan area last night.
The deceased was identified as Shamsuzzaman Labu, 38, a security guard
of Pizza Hut restaurant in city’s Gulshan-1 area.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gulshan
Zone) Md Abdul Ahad confirmed the matter to BSS.
The accident occurred when a speedy private car hit Labu in front of the
restaurant at around 11.30 pm while he was crossing the road, he said.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where he
succumbed to his injuries around 12.15am.
A case was filed in this connection.
