Bangladesh lose World Archery Federation in Asian Archery

DHAKA, Nov 26, 2019(BSS)-The Bangladesh archery team comprising Ruman
Sana, Tamimul Islam and Mohammad Hakim Ahmed Rubel failed to reach semifinal
as they lost to World Archery Federation by 5-1 set in the quarterfinal of
recurve man’s team event of the 21st Asian Archery Championship now being
held in Bangkok, Thailand.

On the fourth day of the championship held on Tuesday, Bangladesh
however beat Vietnam by 5-4 set in the pre quarterfinal.

In the recurve woman’s division team event Bangladesh archery team
comprising Mehnaj Akter Monira, Beauty Roy and Mosammmat Eti Khatun lost to
Chine Taipei by 5-1 set

In the compound man’s team event, Bangladesh team comprising Asim Kumar
Das Sohel Rana and Mohammad Asikuzzaman lost to Thailand by 230-227 in the
pre quarterfinal.

In the compound woman’s team event, Bangladesh archery team comprising
Susmita Bonik, Bonna Akter and Shamoly Roy lost to Philippines by 218-217.
