Manchester United delegates inspect BNS
DHAKA, Nov 26, 2019 (BSS)- A four-member of delegates from Manchester
United arrived today to inspect the ground, facilities and other relevant
things of Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) ahead of a trip to Bangladesh
for a pre-season friendly match planned for next year.
The four delegates are Allan J Dawson (director) of football,
Christopher L Komen (director of tour and friendlies), Philip Smith
(official) and Matthew C Jones (official).
They also hold an exchange of view with the Bangladesh Football
Federation (BFF) president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin and BFF general secretary
Abu Nayeem Shohag to discuss regarding the various issues.
The BFF is likely to arrange the friendly match in collaboration with
the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as part of the celebration of the hundred
years birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman.
The date and opponent of the friendly has not been finalized yet, as the
agent concerned is holding talks with other European clubs.
