DHAKA, Nov 26, 2019 (BSS)- Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock at the death of renowned poet and architect Rabiul Husain.
In a message of condolence, the minister recalled his outstanding contribution in literature and said the country has lost an eminent poet, patriotic, architect and cultural personalities at the death of Rabiul Husain.
“Rabiul Husain, who used to preserve the memory of the great war of liberation, will be remembered forever through his own works,” Hasan added.
The minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Rabiul Husain who was simultaneously an architect, poet, art-critic, short story writer, essayist and cultural activist breathed his last at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital in the capital this morning.
