CIGARETTES-SEIZURE
1581 cartons cigarettes, 33 mobile sets seized at HSAI
DHAKA, Nov 25, 2019 (BSS) – Customs Intelligence officials today
arrested five persons with 1581 cartons foreign cigarettes and 33 mobile
phone sets at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The detainees are- Md. Tanvir Azad, Ikbal Mahmud, Belal Hossain
Chowdhury Delwar Hossain and Saidil Miah.
Assistant Commissioner of Dhaka Custom House Md. Sajjad Hossain today
confirmed the matter to BSS.
The estimated cost of the seized goods is approximately Taka 65 lakh.
