Social movement stressed for stopping violence on women

NETRAKONA, Nov 25, 2019 (BSS) – Leaders of district Mohila Parishad at a
press conference here today underlined the need for building up a social
movement to bring an end to repression and violence against women.

District Mohila Parishad arranged the press conference at the
organization’s office in Azohar road of the district town marking the
International women Repression Prevention Fortnight -2019.

Leaders of the Mohila Parishad including Shefali Saha, Taheza Begum, Naly
Barua, Monju Sarker, Safia Laiesh, Monuwara Hamid and Afruza Chowdhory, among
others, addressed at the press conference.

They also laid emphasis on concerted efforts of all levels of people to
ensure equal rights of the women in every sphere of the society.
