Sayeed Khokon inaugurates development projects
DHAKA, Nov 23, 2019 (BSS) – As part of DSCC’s infrastructural development projects, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Mohammad Sayeed Khokon today inaugurated Tk 17 crore development works to facilitate civic amenities for the city dwellers.
He inaugurated Mayor Mohammad Sayeed Khokon Park, newly-renovated Sutrapur Community centre, new drainage system in Distilary Road, renovation work of Dayaganj, Banianagar Mor, Dholaikhal and Sutrapur Thana roads and footpaths.
“With the inauguration of these projects, long-awaited demands of the locals are fulfilled. ..Other projects are under progress and soon will be opened for them. It will give a new look to our old Dhaka”, Mayor Khokon told the newsmen.
Local Member of the Parliament Kazi Firoz Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of DSCC Shah Imdadul Haque, Ward Councilor Sahidullah Minu and local political leaders were present, among others, during the inauguration ceremonies.
